The EuroCore project at the RFG2018 meeting (June 16th-21st, Vancouver, Canada)


The first edition of the RFG (Resources for Future Generations) meeting took place at Vancouver, BC, Canada, between June 16th and 21st, 2018.

 

This meeting gathered the academic and industrial scientific communities around the major issues represented by the availibility and substainibility of mineral resources (water, minerals, energy…) for future generations. The RFG2018 had six major themes: Energy, Minerals, Water, Earth, Resources for Society and Education.

 

The EuroCore project was introduced by Jean Cauzid (Lorraine University), in charge of the Geochemistry and Spectroscopy work package of the project, during the session entitled “Ideas for Enhanced Earth Learning” (“Education and Knowledge” theme). Congrats to Jean for this high-quality talk which raised the interest of the assembly!
